Techno thrill on the Hockenheimring with ProAudio Technology
When hip DJs like Claptone, Umek, Marc Reeve, Lexy and K-Paul bring the stage on the Hockenheimring to the boil, the highest requirements are placed on the material. It goes without saying that there must be no compromises. At the Pit Lane Festival 2019, 160 loudspeakers from ProAudio Technology were chosen for a total of 12 floors and powered by 20 system amplifiers.
And also in the 150 meter long festival tent with its 2 floors a proper setup had to be worked out: A reliable playing cardioid system was needed in the bass range. A powerful combination of ProAudio Technology VS18 and VS28 subwoofers and 20.4 DSP system amplifiers was used. In combination with the VT20 Line Array System, which sounds audibly smoother and more relaxed than conventional systems on the market due to its 11.5″ AMT HF driver, the result was a convincing setup.
Consequently, the system was supplemented by a powerful DJ monitoring system consisting of 2 x 3 VT16 line array elements on 2 x 2 SW18 subwoofers.
For each of the 10 pit floors, a HT16 Tourset from ProAudio Technology was used, which delivered a convincing overall result in view of the outstanding performance of the two systems on the main floors!
